You are provided with best-in-class security standards
when it comes to using the Baroda Bill Pay service so that

we list below some of the key control measures that are
taken:
Allow only authorized access to the web site
To access your account information, you require a LoginID
and a complex password that is part of a state-of-the-art
security system. Only you can access your account information.
Access to your account is secured using Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) encryption. This ensures that your account
numbers and personal data are never sent over the Internet
unencrypted.

All online information exchange between you and Baroda Bill Pay

server authentication, and message integrity for a connection
to the Internet. Using SSL ensures that the information
you exchange with us is never transmitted over the Internet
unencrypted and cannot be viewed by unauthorized individuals.
We use SSL to protect customers from unauthorized tampering
or viewing of their account and billing information. This
encryption is done using 128-bit RC4 encryption, the maximum
level of encryption possible on the Internet comparable
to security levels used by financial institutions.
Protect data during storage
Your data resides in a database that is protected by a
physical firewall. This firewall is configured to receive
and process requests only from authorized personnel. It
can also detect any unauthorized activity around the server.
Further, some of the highly critical information such
as your password, secret question, secret answer, etc
is stored in the database in a hashed format, thereby
preventing misuse of data even by any remote possibility.
Regular back-ups are taken of the data so that appropriate
recovery measures can be initiated of the latest information
